I am stacking 2 x670V switches for our main core. Since all ports are 10G sfp we are setting up the stack to use Ethernet ports as alternate stacking ports (Ports 47 and 48). I setup it up like it said in the concepts guide and it runs nice so far (limited testing for now). When I ran show ports command to see everything I saw this. I reran the command with just the last 10 ports on each slot.

The last 4 ports on each slot show as NP (not present). I understand that 47 and 48 would be NP since we are stacking with those two ports, but I don't know why 45 and 46 are, unless the switch has to cannibalize 2 extra ports to stack with Ethernet.
