Has anyone else noticed that on X695 (and probably VSP7400 as it’s the same hardware), SFPs can be impossible to remove? The same SFP can work with no problem in other switches but in X695, they are often stuck. Hopefully this is a problem with only some batch and not too wide-spread.
We see the problem with SFPs from multiple vendors, including original Extreme branded SFPs that are indeed original parts, not fake.

I think we blamed it on third party SFPs and therefor didn’t report it.
I would be interested in the reply - can you inform me/us about the outcome?

Great, thanks! Did you ever report this to Extreme? We will for sure!

Yes, we ordered six X695 in summer 2020 and all had this problem sometimes. We helped us with a little screwdriver as far as I remember.
We got four X695 a few days ago. Didn’t test SFPs yet.

Stefan
