Hi
I’m very new to XMC and I’ve seen on this board that it is possible to disable/enable ports at certain times. I’m interested in doing this for our DR but I don’t know how to. I’ve looked on XMC and can’t see anything obvious, I’m assuming you essentially run a script at scheduled times? How do you schedule a script on XMC?
Can anyone confirm and if a script already exists on the forum for the enable/disable point me in the right direction?
Thanks
Joe

My unofficial answer(and it pains me to say it) has been using Edge(still painful to type) and enable dark mode like below with the “flags” method:
How to Enable Dark Mode in Microsoft Edge (howtogeek.com)
I haven’t personally seen any “odd” behavior.
Thanks,

Hi Chris,
Is there any good working approach to XMC in dark mode? Some particular browser plugin for that? I hereby place a feature request! 🙂
Cheers,

Hi,
I haven’t had a chance to test but it should be something like below. Under Tasks -→ Scripts:
After editing it you can edit Runtime settings and save as task:
Then Under Tasks-→ Saved Tasks you can schedule it like below:
