Hello, everyone,
I've found a very intersting item in the price:
10338 10Gb SFP+ 10GBASE-T 10Gb SFP+, 10GBASE-T RJ45, 30m with Cat6a
Could somebody please tell me:
1) Does it work in all Summit's and 220's SFP+ (10Gb) ports?
2) How many 10338 10Gb SFP+ 10GBASE-T transceivers could I plug into X670 (gen1, gen2)?
Many thanks in advance,
Ilya
P.S. Does Extreme have mGig (2,5Gb, 5Gb, 10Gb) swithes at the moment?

Hi, Stephane,
Sad, but predictable. It is because of power limitations? I know that 10GBASE-T transceivers have high power consumption...

Hi,
In that context, "remain unused" means "empty".

Hello, Larry,
many thanks for your reply. Correct me if I have understood it wrong:
For example, in X620-8x I can use only 410GBASE-T SFP+ and 4 other optical transceivers like 10GbSR?
So, for X670-G2 I can use 24 10GBASE-T SFP+ and 24 optical transceivers like 10GbSR/LR/LRM?
Phrase "remain unused" is confusing me a little bit...
Thanks
