I have a 220 configured with 4x VLANs. This is a closed system with no Internet access. I have VLAN routing working. I also have IGMP Snooping / Quierrier configured on two of the VLANs that require it. Here are my questions:
1) Can I enable the DHCP server such that each VLAN dishes out IPs in its own range? Is this as simple as just turning it on globally? As far as the pool goes, do I create exclusions for IPs that I do NOT want assigned?
2) I may end up with a WiFi access point connected to the switch. That said, I am not sure if it will be a managed AP or a Netgear router in AP mode. Either way, I need to block multicast to it so that it doesn't flood the WiFi network. How do I go about this?
