HI Frnds I have One Problem I want to Configure Stacking with Two 48 Switches of Model X 440-G-48t-10GE4 Switches.
I dont Have Stacking Cable
I want to Configure with Multi Mode Fiber Optic Patch Cord and Multi Mode Modules
It Is possible To Conf With MM Fiber Patch Cord and Module..?
If Yes...
please Tell Me How to Do with Those.
I Tried Below Steps But Only Master Switch only Activating
Steps
1. SW1- Enable Stacking-support
2. SW1- configure stacking-support stack-port all selection alternate
3. SW1- Saved and Rebooted
4. SW2- Enable Stacking-support
5. SW2- configure stacking-support stack-port all selection alternate
6. SW2- Saved and Rebooted
7. Connected Fiber Cable in SW1 49 Port and SW2 50 port
8. SW1- Enable Stacking
9. SW1- reboot stack-topology
But It Stacking Is Not Working..
The Above Procedure Is Correct If Not
Please Tell Me the Correct Procedure With Steps

dear harish
i once tried that setup you mentioned also on x440g2 - the 10 gig ports on the back side
i also had 10gig sfp+ multimode modules and om3 patch cords
it worked!
maybe you need to cross/uncross them
for sure direct attach cables are cheaper, but if you don't have them you should also be able to test it with fibre equipment

Hi, Harish. The MM Fiber Optic patch cords are not supported for use as stacking cables with X440-G2. However, you can use SFP+ direct-attach cables in lengths of 1, 3, 5, and 10 meters. The Selecting Stacking Cables table provides a list of cable types that are supported for stacking with Summit and ExtremeSwitching brand switches.
