Hi

I am pretty new to Enterasys switching and currently having issues getting ip helper to work on a L3 VLAN interface.

I am running the following:
Copyright (c) 2012 by Enterasys Networks, Inc.

Slot Model Serial # Versions
------ ---------------- -------------------- -------------------------
1 SSA-T4068-0252 11445471636C Hw: 3
Bp: 01.01.00
Fw: 07.71.02.0005

The normal "ip helper-address X.X.X.X" doesn't seem to work.
However When I ping the DHCP server sourcing from the VLAN interface IP address it works.
I know therefore the routing is in place.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks
Cumar

I suppose you are in the l3 interface for the ip-helper command? If so, that command should work.

just to be sure, example:
config t
interface vlan x
ip helper-address x.x.x.x
