Problem with Matrix E1 and Cisco 3905 using ciscocdp

Hi!!!
I have a problem with ciscocdp on matrix E1. I have a C5 and all is working fine. The same configuration has been configured on E1 series but the cisco 3905 does not get the voice vlan configure on the vvid parameter.

I know that the device is too old...

Anyone knows if there are any problems with the ciscocdp version on enterasys E1 ? The ciscodcp device version is 3.07.32.
The E1 series have the las firmware version.

Thanks a lot in advance... and sorry for my english

Thank you for the answer Paul.
James, i have tested de configuration with A-B-C series and all works ok.

Paul, I did the quiestion trying to find a quicky answer with somthing like "E1 ciscocdp version is not compatible with cisco 3905 or modern cisco ipphones".

The configuration is too simple. The voice vlan is 92, and the port in E1 conected to the ipphone has vla 92 tagged.
"show port egress fe.0.1" -> 92 tagged static

I have enabled cdp and ciscocdp in the device and in all the ports.
"show cisco cdp" ->
Matrix>show ciscodp
CiscoDP : Enabled
Timer : 10
Holdtime (TTL) : 180
Platform : Matrix 1H582-25
Version : 03.07.20
Device ID : 04115622210C
PopulateCDP : Enabled
Matrix>

"show por ciscdp status" ->
Matrix>show port ciscodp info Port State VVID #Neigh PDU-TX PDU-RX CosExt TrustExt
----------------------------------------------------------------------
fe.0.1 Enabled 92 0 0 0 undef trusted
fe.0.2 Enabled 92 0 0 0 undef trusted

I have configured the iphone with DHCP and i have the dhcp active and workin ok. I know this because if i configured manually in the ciscophone the vlan-operational then phone catch one ip form the dhcp pool.

Any idea?

My solution is to configure all the phones manually with de vlan operational. But if i want to change the vlan y have to do all again in the 150 ippohnes.

Thanks a lot.

Hmm, I have a B5 and 3905 that is also having problems getting a voice VLAN (although our other Cisco phones are fine). I'll post my configs soon.

Thanks James,
the problem in the Matrix E1 is that there is no LLDP. :_(
In A4, B5 and C5 (stackable series) you can configure ciscocdp or lldp. ¿Why you use lldp-med instead ciscocdp? Any adventages?

Turns out my problem was an incomplete LLDP configuration, this article had all the required configuration. Also turning off LLDP and letting CiscoDP take priority worked as well.

With the understanding that this equipment is no longer supported, but also in recognition that you have submitted this question on behalf of a long-standing customer having diligent service contract coverage for more current equipment, I believe it merits an iteration or two in pursuit of an answer.

If you are comfortable with including the elements of your vlan, ciscodp, policy, and cep configs that relate to what you are trying to do here, I can at least see if they include any obvious flaws.

Thank you.
