What does cause the OUT discard?

Hi,

we see burst increasing of "out discard" counters on some 10G ports on DFE.

what can be reason?

I would suggest you look at the ‘show port flowcontrol’ counters. To see if you are receiving a large number of pause frames on the ports from the end device.

Hi all.

We have sporadicaly performance impacts in our network. We notice massive "out discards" on several ports. 71G and 71K Series.
I have the same question as Zdenek.

What does cause an "out discard"?
TXQ overflow? Port buffer overflow?
