ERS and VSP switch upgrade path

Hello. We need help for upgrade path for ERS and VSP switchs. Our switch firwmare version is 7.1.0.5 on ERS , 5.1.0.3 on VSP 7200. We dont know how to upgrade properly switch.Can not find any documentation about it. ERS 4926GTS , VSP 7254xsq.

you can go from 7.1 to the newest release

you MUST go the version 6.1 before going to version 8.1.
