ERS3500 Firmware Upgrade Path

Hi everyone,

We recently inherited a few Avaya ERS3500 switches. Specifically, 3549GTS-PWR+ HW:03 models. They are stacked. The firmware and software on them are very old (FW: 1.0.0.15 & SW: 5.2.0.004). We’d like to upgrade them to the latest firmware/software (5.3.10) but I can’t seem to find release notes or some documentation that describes the proper upgrade path. I know the switches originally were purchased from Avaya before the business was bought by Extreme.

I’m wondering what the firmware path was for these switches. Can we do a direct upgrade from the current FW to the latest?

release notes pre- v5320 will be found on the Avaya support site.
Anything between v5320 and 5310 will be found on the extreme site.

I see what you mean. I don't see the older Release notes either. I have them and could supply them. Send me an email and I can zip them up and send them to you.
