Hey everyone,

I recall watching some of the fabric engine training material a while back and there seemed to be some mention of the 4220 series switches eventually supporting VOSS/FE. Has anyone heard anything regarding progress on this front? Our MSP is very keen on moving smaller clients to VOSS for power and consistency purposes, not to mention the VSN segmentation and HA considerations for fabric make for a great sales pitch.

It's been a year since I first heard of this with no sign of movement as of yet from Extreme. 


Any insiders want to spill the beans?

Target GA for Fabric Engine on 4220 is mid-March 2025. Don't forget it is L2 only, so only L2 VSNs with Fabric.

Keep in mind 24port or less ports versions of 4220 supported by Fabric Engine only
