How do upgrade SFP 1gb link to 10 gig on x440 switch?

This license upgrades the 2 non-stack port to 10G. Physically speaking, this is the first two. So only these ports can do 10G, out of the 4 available. Are you connecting to the correct ports?

I upraded licence with "

• 16542 - Dual 10GbE Upgrade License - License that converts the two non-stack 1GbE SFP ports to be 10GbE SFP+" but port is not getting active. No led indication.

Hi Alok,

You need to redeem the upgrade license at Extreme's extranet to get the license key, then you have to issue the following command at the switch CLI:

# enable license

Your X440-G2 switch should be ready to use 10Gig modules.
