RSPAN- Source Session and Destination Session on same ERS 4850

Hello,

I am trying to determine if I am able to have an RSPAN source session on the same switch as the destination session for the RSPAN VLAN. I am able to get an RSPAN source session on one switch to communicate fine with the destination session  on another. I have attempted to create a source session to send frames to the destination session on the same switch, but so far have had no luck.

I am testing this on two ERS 4850s both with image 5.9.2.047. In production, I will be using a 4950 (7.6.0.007) for the destination session (and a source session if possible), and the source session will be on a Avaya 4850 (5.9.2.047). Unsure if the images make a difference in this particular scenario, but I included them regardless.

Hopefully I have explained clearly enough what I am attempting to do but I can elaborate as needed.

Thanks!
