a quick tip here, when running VOSS 8.2+ with the segmented management stack, consider using more than just one of the 3 management options:
- management clip/loopback (VRF)
- management VLAN
- out of band
It is perfectly fine to have all 3 configured in parallel. Management CLIP requires a routed connection, thus in some cases it might make sense to have a L2 switched management VLAN IP for direct access in parallel.
