Unable to reset ERS3526 to default

Unable to reset ERS3526 to default

Hello,

I have 4 switches ERS 3526 T. I am trying to reset them to default.
I am performing the below:
  1. During the power on self test press ctrl-c
  2. Press “i” to Initialize config/log flash
  3. Press “y” to erase
  4. Press “a” to run Agent code or Press r to reset (I tried both)
But it is not working and I need to have access to them since I lost the passwords.
When coming up the same config (with unknown passwords) remain.
What can I do?

Hi Maher,

Defaulting the device will not help. We need to generate Backdoor Password for it.

Obtain MAC address of impacted switch or base unit of impacted stack and open up a GTAC case to get the backdoor passwords generated.
