We have planned to upgrade existing device VSP-4850 to VOSS-5320 .
The problem we are looking is all about Fabric . Here are our concerns.
1. Our present VSP-4850 is being configured in fabric

Can i swap this device straight away with VOSS-5320 directly and get configured as similar to that of the VSP-4850 or else we have to follow certain procedure to get it done?? Does the fabric allow a new hardware with similar configuration of the vsp-4850 into the fabric.
Any suggestions or support we do appreciate your response. We have 2 devices to be swapped in the similar manner.

Appreciate your response. What would be the alternative approach as 530 do not support vIST.
I might be facing with similar scenario with 7720-32C as i suspect they also doen't support vIST.

Except if you have specific configuration in other parts of your Fabric which requires you to reuse the same exact configuration between your VSP48 and the 53, I would suggest to configure your new 53 with new values (nick-name, system-id, etc.).
Setup your 53, connect it to your existing Fabric (to the VSP48 for example), move the routing from the VSP to the 53, move your cabling from the VSP48 to the 53. Once the VSP48 are not doing anything anymore in the network, and are only connected to the 53, you can remove them.
It looks like your VSP48 are in cluster (the smlt configuration), be careful that the 530 do not support vIST.
