????????

What is a 7420?

I know VSP7400 series and this contains two models,
One with 48 SFP28 and 8 QSFP28 ports
The other with 32 QSFP28 ports.

I also know universal switch model 7520, this is nearly the same as the VSP7400 model except it has not a many QSFP28 ports model.
It has multiple 48 SFP28 and 48 10G-TX models which have 6 or 8 QSFP28 ports.

There is also a 7720 model which has 32 QSFP28 ports like the other VSP7400 model.

The forwarding ASICS are the same, thus they share the same feature set. The Universal switches support both NOS's and have a Secure Boot Infrastructure. Additionally there is a version of the 7520 that supports MACSEC.

We have a stack of 7400's around the place. These are non universal switches, and were created to bridge between Avaya and Extreme after the purchase. It's probably not far off having an EOS announcement honestly.

The 7520 is a universal switch, in that it can boot both SwitchOS and FabricOS depending what you are doing.

I would be comparing the datasheets between the two honestly.
