3800/3900 series Wired Port Identification

I'm trying to map ports to my switch to form lags to some 3800 series Access Points. I'm having trouble identifying LAN1 vs. LAN2 wired ports on the AP. I've ssh'd into the AP and ran ifconfig to see if I can get any information on which port is hot on the AP prior to forming the lag.
The controller doesn't tell me which port is active.
EMC AP Portview doesn't either.
The port on the switch (K10) I suspect is connected to LAN2 has no nodealias entries.

So, is there any way to tell, other than the light on the AP where it's connected to?

Thanks Ron. That will help a lot.

test setup: AP3935i-ROW connected via LAN1&2 to D2 switch port ge.1.5-6

enabled LACP via the controller GUI on the AP (=AP static configuration)

As you'd see from the second command output - as soon as I've enabled LACP on the AP the two different MACs are visible on the ports (no LAG configured on the switch).

How about MAC address ?

It appears that the MAC address is identical for both ports.
