I have Enterasys AP 3605. I approved it and it was working fine last week. This week, the controller says it's down. The AP is plugged in, but blinking red and green. Does anyone know what caused the AP to go down? I checked the log and it said poll timeout, but I have had other APs do that and come back up by releasing them from the backup controller. I tried rebooting it remotely, but that didn't do anything, and it's not active in the backup controller.

If you are remote and looking at the leds is difficult, you can ping it or ssh to it to see what it is doing. If you know or can find the ip of the ap, ping it to verify it is up. You can ping /t for abit just in case it is rebooting. If you can ping, then we could ssh to it and do some troubleshooting to see what is wrong, and possibly fix it.

Laura,
Which LEDs are lit? If the access point is facing you with the logo towards you, read the LEDs from 1-4 left to right.
