Has anybody ever installed Summit Switches in external cabinets that have no cooling only convection cooling through the cabinet itself

Extreme hardware being placed in external road side cabinet . ( provide network & poe+ to external AP 3865 )
The cabinets exist , so I cannot change or modify. heat exchange will be by convection to out side. ( no grill or air con)
South UK based , so unlikly to have major weather events ( cold hot )

Many thanks , I've done the same on Mast sites , using the switch as a repeater between two aerials .. where the switch is down basically as you said in a shed..

We have a few switches installed in a roof top shed that seem to do fine. This slightly different than the situation you are describing because the switch is in a cabinet inside a shed. But the shed is not conditioned in any way.
