Hi,
Just in the process of trying to get internal captive portal working on Identifi which was working using the old method of redirection, but now using “Enable Rule Based Redirection”
As can be seen below the HTTP & HTTPS are now set to redirect to ‘Own WLAN’:
At this time I’m getting an ‘Internal Error’ showing up on the captive portal page, which is issue one.
Second issue is if I import the roles from the EWC to policy, which is the goal of switching to ‘Enable Rule Based Redirection’, the rules look like below i.e. it will never show up as redirection rules in Policy / XMC ?!
Issue with this is when you next do an enforce it overwrites the redirection rules, and breaks the captive portal?
So I need to create a redirection rule in Policy instead, how then do you create a redirection rule to ‘Own WLAN’?
Appreciate any support on either of those issues.
Many thanks in advance

Hi Martin,
I would suggest to review the EWC integration Guide to be sure that all steps are ok:
I don’t manage Identifi WLC anymore but if I remember well, enforcing the NAC was changing the “Enable Rule Based Redirection” in a way that wasn’t allowing the captive portal redirection for me. I always had to double check that flag:
