Identifi: proper topology configuration for branches

Identifi: proper topology configuration for branches

Hello, everybody!

I am testing Identify in a bank.

It has HQ (where@EWC works) and several branches, connected to HQ with VPN. There is a direct visibility - I can ping resources in braches from HQ.

All branches has their own Internet gateway and I don't want HQ to be gateway for branche's wifi users traffic. So, it seems that@AP topology would be the most suitable.

The problem is there is no VLANs in branches. It's a small /24 networks.

But Identify doesn't allow me to create several topologies in VLAN 1. And it can't change network equipment in braches to new ones, which support dot1q subinterfaces. How can I separate branches' networks?

Is there any solution?

Many thanks in advance,

ILya

Hello

Just use the B@AP untagged topology that comes with the controller by default. It will put all users directly into the local vlan that the AP port is configured for.

Thanks, Craig,

I'll try to do that tomorrow.
