Hello dear specialists. I stand before this task: A customer, a hotel wants to prevent the guests get the certificate warning when forwarding to the guest portal. The guest network is routed via a C25. The controller receives an ssl certificate accepted by all browsers. This certificate is issued to a public domain name and resolved to a fixed public IP address. This fixed address is located on the WAN interface of the customer's Internet router. The LAN side of this router uses private addresses. Would this installation prevent the certificate warnings? Does anyone use such a constellation?

It will run with valid DNS configuration and/or SAN config of the certificate with the internal IP.

Yes, we use this for NAC portal as well and it prevents the certificate warnings....
The certificate require a valid certification chain from a public CA.

thank you for quick response. Is it necessary to configure something on the internet router, because the controller is in the LAN and has an internal private address?
