Suggestions for tracking down wireless contention issues with C35?

I have a customer (school) running a C35 with about 100 AP3805i's. During lunchtime, they experience contention problems in the lunch room. I'm pretty comfortable with the WiNG platform, but not the C35/Identifi platform - can anyone provide any suggestions for where to best monitor/assess wireless use in this area of the building during peak periods? I see that I could likely deploy a few more AP's and use load balancing via a group, but I'm not sure where the best spot is in the UI to determine how much contention there is. Looking for any suggestions that other might have based on prior experience.

Thanks!
Eric

Hi Eric ..

Best thing to do probably would be to open a case with us in the GTAC.

We should make sure firstly that the APs and WLAN's are configured optimally ... and then for sure ... Load Groups that are Client Balancing could be appropriate in a situation like a lunch room that's a shared open air space with many clients at certain parts of the day.

How many clients are gathering in the lunch area at peak times??

Thanks Bruce. I'm not actually sure yet. Tomorrow we're doing an onsite to get an idea of how many students are there at once. We're getting there early in order to gain an understanding of how everything is set up (was done by an old employee with limited documentation). Hoping to get some basics in terms of what to look for (other than the obvious stuff like 500 people trying to hit a single AP  ! ). Our intent is to audit which AP's are within the same rough location, determine how much people are bleeding to nearby AP's that might need lower power to control CCI, get a handle on active connections to the units in the actual room and then plan for added AP's, load groups, etc.
