Wireless Statistics for NMS-Base

I just saw the article https://extremeportal.force.com/ExtrArticleDetail?an=000088672 which doesn't seem entirely accurate. I don't have NMS-Advanced but I do collect wireless statistics. Are there specific statistics that require NMS-Advanced, such as the new reporting in 10.21.x? If anyone can provide further explanation of the this article, that would be great. Thanks.
