After an upgrade of my V4110 from 09.15.05 to V9.21.04 i have problems with Intel 6205 WLAN Clients in 5GHz and AP3825! Either the Client cannot connect to WLAN SSID (in 5GHz) OR it will work fine first but after 3-4 hours the ping latency will increase to 800/900ms. On good days all work fine. Within 2,4 GHz no/never problem occurs. We have the same problem with 9.01.x and 9.12. With 9.15.x the problem never occur / disappear. Now with 9.21 it seems that we have the problem again. WLAN client driver are up to date!
How can i troubleshoot this issue ? Are there any useful log or debug command at EWC ? Is it possible to get a troubleshooting from client site ?
Regards

Hi Steve,
running V9.21.07 and later on customers EWC will avoid the above problems.
Regards,
Matthias

A current view regarding this issue:
To solve the problem we have a GTAC case open. We do several Firmware updates in the V9.21 version track! Currently we use V9.21.07 and the problem does not appear the last 2-3 weeks.
It seems that these last V9.21.x Firmware versions are more stable than the first one one of V9.21.x.
Regarding to the WLAN card driver - check version and use the lastest (often the windows guys install the first one they can grab - regardsless to bugs or software quality)!

Hello Matthias,
do all of you Pings have response times of 800+ msec or only some of them?
For us it looks like that:
Reply from 192.168.0.14: bytes=1500 time=3ms TTL=125
Reply from 192.168.0.14: bytes=1500 time=4ms TTL=125
Reply from 192.168.0.14: bytes=1500 time=4ms TTL=125
Reply from 192.168.0.14: bytes=1500 time=268ms TTL=125
Reply from 192.168.0.14: bytes=1500 time=381ms TTL=125
Request timed out.

Most of the ping response times are very low <10ms but from time to time 4-5 Pings have very high response time (several hundred msec). For some clients that happens every 30-90 seconds.
I see no relation between 2,4 and 5 GHz band, problem appears in both bands.
Which drivers do you use with your Intel 6205 cards?
