Hello
We need to add a temporary SSID to just one access point in XIQ. We cannot seem to find how to do this ?
Does anybody have any info about how to add SSID to AP without addign to the network policy ?
THanks
Siobhán

If it's just to add an SSID to one AP, create the SSID then use classification rules to apply it to that AP specifically. In the Network Policy > Wireless Networks > tick the "assign SSIDs using classification rules" box then create a rule based on the AP location or IP address for example.

Hi Siobhan,
Yes I think they will show the orange audit icon off memory, but if you look at the delta configuration it should basically have nothing to change and only the AP you've assigned with the classification rule will broadcast the SSID.

Thanks Ash. Appreciate the help. When we put this in the policy, will all aaccess points see this as a policy change and go orange on the dashboard ??
