SSID in the "same" VLAN of MGMT APs

SSID in the "same" VLAN of MGMT APs

Hi team!!!

I have a problem with SSID´s VLAN configuration and I would like some ideas to solved it.

We have our switches configured with this VLAN mapping:

- VLAN 99 UNTAG for management
- VLAN 1 TAG for users

The XIQ config has the default config, so the MGMT VLAN of the APs is the VLAN 1, but no problem, as the VLAN99 is untaged in the port, it works.

The issue is that when the users connect to SSID asociated to VLAN1 they obtain IP from VLAN99 because the AP doesn´t send their traffic tagged to VLAN1.

I think that the APs think that the users are in the same VLAN as the MGMT VLAN (native).

I tried play with "VLAN MANAGEMENT" and "NATIVE VLAN" in the local configuration or in device template applied, setting VLAN 99 as the vlan, but in this case the config its never applied.

So, how can I send the traffic from users to VLAN1 tagged?

Regards

EF

Hi there, I’m sorry for the long wait here, thank you for your patience. I ran this past our XIQ engineers and they requested we open a case so we can dig in to your configuration with you to help set up the traffic flow you need. If you could go to the portal at extremeportal.force.com and open a ticket, we should be able to help you from there.
