what is different between AP ethernet port mode backhual and bridge-802.1q?

I config an AP230 with cli, when choose the eth0 mode bridge-802.1q, the ssid isn't broadcasting, after change it the backhual, the ssid appear again, so what is different between backhual and bridge-802.1q

here is the help message from AP cli:

backhaul        Set the interface in backhaul mode, making it a
VLAN-aware layer 2 interface through which the default
MAC route for traffic to and from the main LAN passes
bridge-802.1q   Set the interface in bridge-802.1Q mode, making it a
VLAN-aware layer 2 interface to enable the bridging of
traffic between 802.1Q VLAN-capable devices in a wired
LAN segment and the wireless LAN (Note: The default MAC
route is never on an interface in this mode.)

I could confirm that backhual is working as trunk port too, from the help message, the only different is just the default mac route is on or off? so what is mac route again?

Hello,

the type “backhaul” on CLI is called “Uplink Port”. You need this port type for ports connecting to the XIQ.

Only with the “Uplink Port” the connection to the cloud is possible. The other port types are for ports connected to other subsequent switches or devices.
