Just after any guidance for upgrading from a relatively old version of the firmware to a more recent release. Currently we are on 5.9.4.1 and wish to upgrade to a version closer to the current release for security reasons, looking at 7.7.1.9.
Is there a suggested upgrade path for such a big upgrade? Or is it safe to go from the v5.x.x.x train to v7.x.x.x.
This is for an estate of AP7522 ap's and a VX9000. From docs I believe both can run on the latest firmware.
Any help appreciated.
Have raised a case with support but they are just advising to look at the release notes, which I cannot see any mention of upgrade paths.
