Could ADSP be run in an hardware appliance or integrated in software like VX9000?

That's right, as full time sensor the APs can't provide any client access.

In this case you should use the AP8533. Or maybe the AP8432 and just use 5 GHz for client access.

Dear Bin Han,

Does the note " AP 7522, AP 7532, AP 7562 radios are band-locked, both radios are required for sensing" mean these APs can not send/receive client data when they are used as a dedicated sensor?

The ADSP 9.0.3 release introduced support for virtual platforms, so the AirDefense Server can also be installed on non-AirDefense appliances.

Note that the Appliance support will continue and the virtualization enables additional flexibility for customers deploying ADSP systems. Customers who want to install AirDefense Sever on their virtual platform must purchase the following ADSP base platform license and associated support contract.
