AP-7532-67030-US adoption to a AP-7532-67030-WR

Will a VC running on a AP-7532-67030-WR successfully adopt a AP-7532-67030-US?

I am aware of regulatory domains and potential legality issues, but hypothetically will it work?

Hello Vjani,

You have a limit of 1 rf-domain per VC and you will need to set the country code for said rf-domain that all adopted APs will be part of. You cannot set country code to US on WR SKUs and vice versa, so the VC might see and adopt the US AP BUT the radios on the latter will be off (Due to regulatory standards).

Hello,
VC will perfectly adopt same model AP, but to make all the RFD radio running (avoid country-code mismatch) there is a trick to set country code on the device level in config. Therefore it is _highly_ not recommended to run inconsistent country codes on a same RFD - it’s destroys 802.11d and may cause connectivity and roaming issues. I’s is also regulatory issue  - take in mind the country code is announced 10 mimes a second in every beacon on a minimum basic speed..
