AP7522 VC <----> AP410 VC>

AP7522 VC <----> AP410 VC>

Hi,

We have 24 AP7522 controlled by 1 virtual controller (same vlan, so)
We are considering adding AP (10AP) in this environment, but AP310.
Do you think there could be 2 virtual controllers (I don't think so) 1 for AP7522 (Version 5.9.x.x) and another for AP310 (V7..x.x).
Should I instead consider declaring 1 AP310 as a VirtualController and creating a profile there to adopt the AP7522?
how should the switching of the AP7522s which are hooked take place?

Thanks for help...

Hello Yas,

      WiNG Virtual Controller (VC) feature only operates on L2 and cannot cross L3 boundaries. Only one VC can be deployed on the L2 network. AP310 can be the VC for the AP7522, as well as the AP310, and you would create an ANYAP profile the AP7522s. Recommend WiNG v7.7.1.8 for both models.

The following KB article explains VC support for different AP models.

The following KB is in reference to the ANYAP profile:
