Just got a Controller and did a factory reset on it. However it seems the normal username and password combinations aren't working. Anyone know the default username and password for a WM3400 running 4.3.1.0-022R would be?
I've tried admin admin admin abc123 admin

Hmm, it seems to be having trouble upgrading through the Controller. Are there other options to get this firmware upgraded? All it does at the moment is attempt to update then restart.
Thanks for the help! 🙂

If the AP is running older legacy WiNG 4 firmware (v4.3.1), there is no CLI. CLI was introduced once AP is upgraded to WiNG 5. If APs are adopting to site controller via L2, these APs would not have an IP.
Not sure what version you are trying to upgrade to, but the AP needs to be upgraded to v5.2.13 first, before moving forward to a more current release.

Follow up question. It would appear that the AP4620s that came with this controller are probably running that same old firmware. They don't appear to be updating either, or they're trying and failing. The event log keeps reading "Legacy access point being updated" . I read somewhere that I can SSH into the AP and do the following:
enable erase startup-config reload
However I'm unable to get an IP off these things. Any tips?
