Information about MiNT procol and RF Domain Manager election process?

I'm trying to troubleshoot a remote site where the APs are not electing an RF domain manager (each assumes itself is) and trying to learn more about the protocol but haven't been able to find any retailed information on how the protocol works. Does anyone have a link to the whitepaper(s) that describe the MiNT protocol, and/or the election process for RF domain managers?

Coaster8775,

when you are writing of "remote site", I guess you do have a centralized controller and a remote site with APs only.
In this case you have to configure the "Control VLAN" or "VLAN for Control Traffic" in the RF-domain assigned to the remote site to enable the local (Layer 2 or VLAN) MiNT Communication. The Control-VLAN needs to be available to the APs (so assigned to GE1 in the AP profile or override).

Please find attached a short presentation about MiNT.

Best regards,
Angelo

Thanks Angelo,

I'm looking for something with a lot more detail, something like this RFC for OSPFv2 that goes in to things like the composition of packet headers. I appreciate your response, though!
