We are deploying AP 8533 access points and are looking for the best practice on port configuration between the access point and the switch. The majority of the access points we have now only have a single gigabit connection and we simply treat them as a trunk port and set the native vlan to an AP management vlan. No user traffic is tunneled back to the controller.
What are other people doing with the second gigabit port on the AP8533?
We have attempted to configure it as a port channel from the controller only to be told "No channel-group support on device type ap8533". Based on this error message I found
this page which indicates that is not a supported configuration.
Any help would be appreciated
