Is there any guide to change the RSS RX buffers on this appliance ?
Im having a lot of packet loss and its all only on this wireless controller vm. The Broadcom knowledgebase has suggestions for linux and windows, but im not sure how to fix it in the appliance
- Click Small Rx Buffers and increase the value (The maximum value is 8192).
- Click Rx Ring #1 Size and increase the value (The maximum value is 4096).
My ESXI is reporting:
running out of buffers:40248935
pkts receive error:82187610
1st ring size:512
2nd ring size:256
# of times the 1st ring is full:119798
# of times the 2nd ring is full:0
I fixed it in the past on some heavy traffic windows vms, but how should i do it on this software ?
