800-Series Assignment of a Port to a 802.1Q VLAN

Goals
Assign one or more egress VLANs to each of one or more ethernet ports.
Assign an ingress untagged VLAN identifier to each of one or more ethernet ports.

Solution
The VLAN egress of a port is assigned through the 802.1Q VLAN Settings menu:

', then select the '

Add/Edit VLAN
' tab.
  1. Type the numeric Vlan ID (VID) to be added to the port's VLAN Egress list.
  2. Using the radio buttons, select the ports to be
    Tagged
    ,
    Untagged
    ,
    Forbidden
    , or
    Not Member
    of that VLAN.
  3. Click the
    Apply
    button.



The VLAN ingress of a port is assigned through the GVRP Port Settings menu:

  1. Select the port or port range to modify.
  2. Type the numeric PVID (Port Vlan ID to be assigned to untagged ingress traffic) for the port(s).
  3. Click the
    Apply
    button.
