Each PoE switch unit (model number ending with "P") can provide a total of 370 Watts (With f/w 6.03.01.0008 and higher, 375 Watts) of 48-Volt power that may be distributed to PoE clients over the normally used ethernet pairs 1,2,3, & 6. Any individual port can provide up to the maximum 15.4W specified in the IEEE 802.3af standard, if the power is not being demanded by other ports. If all ports require Power over Ethernet, then either the maximum 15.4W (24-port models) or the maximum 7.5W required by a Class 2 device (48-port models) may be delivered simultaneously to all ports. To accommodate power demands that exceed 370 (or 375) Watts, it is possible to prioritize which ports receive their full allotment of requested power - and special powershedding support enforces this priority at the expense of lower-priority ports.

As additional information is made available, it will be added to this document.
