Can someone please tell me how I can get some form of notification when firmware is released for my AP 5010s and 4000s? I use Cloud IQ.
Someone pointed me to the product announcements in The Hub (here) IQ Engine/Hive OS Announcements - Extreme Networks but... my APs are running 10.8.r7 and the latest one on that page is 10.8.r2 so that doesn't look very reliable.
Thanks

Hi,
For cloud-managed APs, a platform update usually comes with an AP firmware update. However, some hotfix releases might be made available ahead of time.
In theory, you can subscribe here on The Hub to receive these notifications, but I don't find the posting of this information to be very consistent, as it relies on someone manually publishing it.
The way I do it is by checking the following links, as 98% of the time there are release notes for every update. Yes, as strange as it sounds, I've run into cases where a firmware had no release notes and I had to request them from GTAC.

I hope this helps.
