Buying used switch on ebay, howto get updates?

I'm looking to buy an used Summit x440-24t switch on ebay. Is it possible to get updates to this switch without a support contract?

Officially only the first owner is allowed to consume the Limited Lifetime Warranty.

I suggest you register at our Extreme Portal = https://extremeportal.force.com/ExtrLogin

Then you can try firmware download = you will need S/N of your device.

For anything better than Limited Lifetime Warranty you need to contact our partners to get the offer.

I realize that warranties are only to the original seller. I was wondering about service contracts for software updates.
