At the moment it is not possible to validate user credentials trought nested Active Directory or LDAP groups (Nested Group= User belongs to group1, group1 belongs to group2. Group2 will be used for validating the credntilas).
This was a must criteria in RFP of a healthcare customer which was a show stopper for using XMC Control as Radius Server. So one solution at this time is to use Extreme Conrol only as Radius Proxy what is not that smooth for the overall “single pane of glas philosophy.”
So this is a feature request to add support of nested Active Directory and LDAP groups for XMC Web Giu Authentication and also for Extreme Control NAC Rules.
