Can Exos 670v be used as Media Converter? If on one port we have a 10G Ethernet SFP stick and on the other port we have a 10G Optical stick. Would there be a lossless(transparent) delivery of packets possible?

Thanks for the update Danial. Are you using it for a simple, flat, single VLAN or did you utilize some other method of deployment?

Danial, I believe the answer is "kind of"... If you leave the configuration default, the two ports will be within the same layer 2 VLAN (default), but that's it. If traffic is not all contained within a single VLAN, then no. I don't believe there is a way to put a port into promiscuous mode whereby all traffic traverses without any impact of VLANs, etc. Perhaps someone at Extreme can provide added info...? The other alternative would be to manually configure the ports in the same fashion, but I still don't believe that will leave the ports as a simple pass-through like you're suggesting.
