I am trying to tackle an ongoing issue of Apple devices and their Mac Randomization. I have a device limit set at 4 for my staff and they keep running into the device limit because their Mac's keep changing. I don't want to instruct all of them to turn off the feature so I'd like to sharpen my device expiration limits instead. However, I need some help.
In Access Control I see Default Expiration and Delete Expired Users features, however, from what I have read this is an expiration from time of registration not device inactivity. I would like to set a approx 14 day expiration time based on device inactivity on the network. i.e. If Device is not seen active on network for 14 days, we remove the device. However, if the device is active on the network, we maintain their registration for 1 year.
Can someone help point me in the right direction for this?
