We are pleased to announce the availability of the
EXOS 22.5.1 release. Several significant features/capabilities have been made available in this release, including:
The release also includes a number of service and customer feature enhancements.
Customer-Related Enhancements
- RSTP over MLAG (p9)
Rapid Spanning Tree Protocol (RSTP) can now be configured on MLAG peers (as well as connected access switches) to help prevent loops within an MLAG topology
- ALPM mask improvements (p10)
Enhanced IPv6 route support when using mask lengths between 64 and 128
- BOOTP Relay over L3VPN (p9)
BOOTP Relay can now be enabled over VRFs and VPN-VRFs
- CDP Voice VLAN tag in every packet (p9)
Cisco Discovery Protocol (CDP) Voice VLAN tags are now enabled by default for all CDP packets
