Hello,
I set up XMC with all its components (netsight, analytics, fabricmgmr and NAC) running 8.2.5.50.
I also set up a cluster of VX9000 running 5.9.4.1-004R with one AP8533 (same version).
I would like to link the VX cluster and the AP to XMC but I could not find how.
The device discovery is OK, I can see both wireless controllers in the device tab (thanks to the ZTP+ configuration), but nothing appears in Wireless -> Controllers.
I enabled "Collect device statistics" on both controllers.
What configuration am I missing ?
Thanks

Hi.
you need Extreme Cloud Appliance to “translate” the WiNG stats to XMC.
Most probably you will need also newer WiNG firmware.
today you can monitor your WiNG solution through snmp and FlexViews.

Hello,
a few years later....what´s the status today?
I was recently told, that I can DIRECTLY jump from XMCs Wireless Controller Tab to WiNG.
I have installed VX9000 cluster with WiNG 7.7.1 as well as XMC 8.5.2.6 in my Lab.
I have the same status like Yoann:
The device discovery is OK, I can see both wireless controllers in the device tab but nothing appears in Wireless -> Controllers.
I did not find any guides or further explanations. Customer won´t be amused for additional and additional and aditional machines to get "a single pane of glass"....
In addition to the XMC integration I need to know, how to integrate my WiNG into the working Control environment.
Pls help (with details).
Thx!
