Hello. Please excuse me, I'm new to the environment, but I need some support on what are most likely very simple solutions. I have to connect a 50 micron fiber data line to a port on a Black diamond extreme net 8810 switch with a 8900-10G24x-c 41632b, 24 port, 10GBase-x SFP module. Is a 1000base-SX SFP model#10051H acceptable to make the connection to the port on the switch?

Hi Mark, welcome to The Hub! I've made this conversation public so that others outside of Extreme can participate.
The 1G SFP you've got will work just fine in the 10G24Xc card you have. You might need to enable auto-negotiation on the port if it doesn't automatically enable it for you.
