Obtaining/Downloading Old Firmware Version (15.1.0.20)

Hello,

Does anyone know if the ExtremeXOS 15.1.0.20 image is available anywhere on the download site? It appears the earliest available 15.x version is 15.1.1.6, but I was interested in the earlier version to debug a problem.

If no link is available, but I had access to a machine (Summit X440-24T) with the XOS version of interest, is it possible to extract the XOS image from the primary/secondary partition from the machine and use that?

You're welcome!
Unfortunately there is no way to provide them. Can I ask what type of debugging you're trying to do that isn't applicable to a newer version?

Hi Pat, welcome to The Hub!
EXOS v15.1.0.20 is a pre-release version, likely installed on your X440 at the factory. It is not advisable to use this version in production because it is not fully tested. Does the CLI prompt show "software upgrade required?"

Regarding the ability to transfer the software from another switch, this isn't possible.
