slow SNMP polling SSA-T1068

I am new to SNMP polling, and gathering information in this manner. I am trying to get a SolarWinds SNMPwalk.exe utility to work against my SSA-T1068 switch. I am able to get information, but it seems very slow to respond. I thought that if I point to the host IP of the management port of the SSA, and I put in "1" for the starting point of the OID, it would come back in 10-20 seconds. It seems to take a minute or 2. Is that normal? I'm trying to work with another group that does the SNMP management, and they are questioning if the switch is working right. Any thoughts on this?

If you run an MIBwalk from OID 1 you will make an getNext for like 60.000 or more OIDs, this is normal that these will take time. not sure why you make that walk.

you might look at the CLI of the S-Series and check the 'show system utilization'
If other tasks are very high, SNMP will be serviced low in priority.
Also, if SNMP as a task is very high, it may account for performance as well.
Both situations are rare, but should be investigated to weed out performance issues on the network.

I should have mentioned that in my original post. I did set that parameter, as I saw that comment. It did not seem to make anything faster. That is a global change on the switch.
